WE THEN SHAPE THE STEEL TO CREATE UNMATCHED PIECES
The production cycle starts in the factory warehouse where the raw material, "a great gift of nature" is selected with great care, to enter a transformation process that turns it into three main components, necessary for the development of the Evo Line, Top Line and Utp ranges: pipes, silencers and tail pipes.
The first component: the inox aisi 304 linking steel pipes are first cut and then shaped and processed as required.
The second element, the silencing part is obtained from polished stainless steel aisi 304 strips to begin with, while for the inside, we use various Aisi 409 stainless steel perforated pipes. They are covered with heat resistent stainless steel wool and noise absorbent material to obtain a first-rate product. The silencer is then sealed with stainless steel aisi 304 lap-joints, which are wholly Tig (tungsten inert gas) welded, to ensure top resistance.
The third element is the tail pipe, the visible part protruding from the back of the car. We offer a large range of tail pipes of different design, created with the utmost exactness. The treatment of the inside part of the tail pipe is crucial. In fact its shape and taper ratio are crucial to the silencer's sound. Once the tail pipe is completed, it is polished until it looks like a mirror.
All components are then assembled to obtain a top quality, highly performing sport exhaust.
Lastly, a quality control check is done once again on the silencers before being stored in the warehouse as the finished product with Ragazzon's trademark engraved on it as a guarantee.
The H2 - Flow Line's production is different from previous ones inasmuch that it is produced with the state of the art “Hydroforming Technology” process. This technological product is created by using a single part of round inox steel pipe, worked in high-pressure sophisticated machines. The pipe is placed within a suitably shaped mould into which is then pumped fluid at high pressure. This pushes the metal against the mould's inner walls, thus giving shape to the silencer's outer body, all within preset dimensions and measurements.
The tail pipe, the aesthetic part, is the mere silencer's extension, reduced and shaped to give a prestigious design: in fact the two parts are a single, weld less, indivisible body.
The rest of the manufacturing process links to the Evo Line, Top Line and Utp leading up to the final quality control.
